Built and deployed an AI chatbot frontend integrated with the organization's existing systems. [Disclaimer, actively in development] Worked on legacy system migration and greenfeilded SharePoint development and transition from drive structure. AI ChatBot: Front end has been developed using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, waiting on accounting to begin backend dev. Front End: Button with image background that toggles a box which displays chat history, text entry box, submit button. Had to use a button with JS instead of forms due to the third party enviornment the website lives in. Backend intentions: Planning to use the google cloud stack to consolodate model and cloud provider. Planning to build the server with node JS, there should never be enough simultanious demand or large file work for this bot to stall node and need Go level preformance. I intend to build a custom light weight RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation system) as Googles provided service seems expensive, though it may be easier for them to maintain after I'm gone. I'll run the options by the CTO for the final call. Before the RAG system, I'm going to implement model caching to store the majority of information needed for quick answers, RAG will be deployed if we want a larger file database.

Workstudy position at Columbia, I worked in the Chemestry mail room, handling package deliveries (mainly chemicals and equipment), sorting, labeling, and distribution to the appropriate labs.

A summer job at a brewery and resturaunt. Waited tables, managing numerous clients simultaniously. On expediter shifts, I was the single point of cordination between the servers and the kitchen, my job was to streamline the process; track which food belonged to which ticket at rush (20+ items at a time), ensure servers took the correct items and that those items had everything needed.

Summer deep cleaning. Kaivacing, wax removal, powerwashing, moving and cleaning furniture.

Summer deep cleaning. Shampooing chairs, window washing, etc. Got to listen to a lot of audio books during it though, that was very nice. Made it through a book every week or two. This came in handy for the Core at Columbia, a lot of the classics for Liturature Humanities I had already read in highschool or listened to at this job. I also listened to a good deal of nonfiction, Richard Feynman's autobiographies are full of amusing anecdotes.

Philosophy minor. QuestBridge Scholar. President, Columbia Effective Altruism (~150 member community, 10-20 in fellowships).

Highlights from this period include the writing contest I won and the book I wrote but did not publish (see writing section for more); I haven't had the free time to dedicate to writing in far too long. Another highlight was the Quantum Science Summer Camp I attended the summer after my junior year. This was extremely fun, 2 lectures a day (morning and night), hands on experiments demonstratting things like the photoelectric effect, in another experiment we used the interference pattern from a laser passing through a double slit to calculate the lasers wavelength and were remarkably close. I may have been the only highschool student there, there may have been a few others, it was mainly college students from around Wyoming and from Lousiana State University and Texas A&M. The camp took place the weeks before a conference on quantum mechanics in Casper Wyoming that the professors giving our lectures were attending. It also included a lot of outdoors activities in the surrounding areas, hiking, rafting, etc. 10/10 strongly recommend.
